A connoisseur in marketing, our founder Mr. Hatim Bhai Shaikh Qamruddin Madarwala (B. Pharm) chose to build in his hometown at a time when many were moving from rural areas to the cities — and the business he started in 1973 still creates opportunity for the local community today.

With the permission, guidance and Dua Mubarak of his holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (R.A.), Mr. Hatim Bhai Shaikh Qamruddin Madarwala (B. Pharm) establishes a small-scale industry, ‘Tastee Products’, in the rural area of Mandar, Rajasthan.
At the request of the General Manager of the District Industry Centre, Palanpur, a new unit — ‘Top Products’ — is founded in the remote area of Gundari, Gujarat. The area is later marked for industrial development as ‘Hatim Nagar’.
On 10th July 1988 the new plant and administrative block is inaugurated by Mr. Buta Singhji (Former Union Home Minister) and Mr. B.K. Gadhvi (Former Finance Minister, Govt. of India), creating jobs for the local community — a legacy that continues.
Hatim Bhai receives the Indira Gandhi National Unity Award from former President Giani Zail Singh (1990) and the Priyadarshini Award from Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Shivraj Patil (1991) — and in 1992, the Pride of Asia International Award in Singapore for “Excellence in Perfumed Food Products”.
The Global Achiever's Award for Business Excellence at the 31st Indian Achievers Summit, New Delhi (2012), and the Worldwide Achievers Business Leaders Summit & Awards (2017).
